blame the retards who drive without insurance and then hit people and the dickhead personal injury lawyers who sue everyone who is at fault in an accident under any circumstances

that's an effect not necessarily the cause what so ever.

I am not a big JBE fan, but I don't dislike him. If someone I feel, would make a better governor, runs then I will vote for them.
If this Rispone guy seems to be a better fit, I will vote for him.. But these are the type of replies I don't like to see.
I'd like to get more substance. To say "I think" then go back and say "I know" it seems like he is still in the first stages of learning how to run a campaign. You don't ever say "I think", you want to show confidence. It was as if he said "I think" then remembered he has to sound confident so he corrected himself.
If he and John Kennedy runs, they could split up the conservative vote enough, that it will only help JBE. If he is the only serious candidate running against JBE then he will automatically have the support of the majority of North Louisiana voters. But it might be difficult to be JBE simply because he is an incumbent.

My Uncle has worked at ISC for like 25 years. He says the Rispone's are decent men. He mentioned Eddie was thinking about running a while back. Like someone else said, Eddie is a business man who has all the money he could ever want, his family is set up for generations, and his state is sucking hind tit in every statistical category. He is just tired of sitting on the sidelines. Like Donald Trump, but on a smaller scale. I applaud his efforts, even though they've only just begun.

I know nothing about this guy, but I find the quoted statement hard to believe about any politician.
Well, until yesterday he wasn't a politician.
The point I was making is he doesn't need to run. If he needed something done politically, his Rolodex and bank account are both large enough to make that happen already.

I know him.
I'd vote for him, easily over what we have. He's been preparing for this day for a long time. He's a conservative businessman with no actual experience in politics, other than from the sidelines. He's rich, no reason for him to do it for the money.
He has a bit of an ego but he's a helluva smart, conservative businessman.

It might get crowded with Kennedy, Landry, Graves and Rispone all running on the Republican ticket

That’s why they have primaries.

I always laugh when I hear candidates say "I am not a politician". If you are not a politician then why are you running for office to become a politician?
While it sounds good to the people, you have to know how to be a politician in order to get things done.

there's going to be some mudslinging and will drive some voters away...ask David Vitter
