If Graves runs, Eddie will most likely bow out. I would bet that he's spoken to Graves already, as he's a big supporter of Graves.
But Kennedy and Landry? No one should gaf. Kennedy showed he couldn't come close to getting it done. He'll never win as governor. Rispone would be better than either of those 2. Problem for Edddie is name recognition, though. That's what he's going to have to overcome.
I would bet he might have a few heavy hitters lined up to endorse him, though, which might help.

He's known as Fredo Rispone, if you catch my drift....

I'd hate to lose Kennedy in the Senate this soon into his term, unless he's already sick of it.

No one said he wasnt a politician.....matter of fact quite the contrary.....Golfer actually said until yesterday he wasn't a politician which is accurate

Did you miss the part that said "until yesterday"??
Do you ever really read a post or do you just start typing midway through a sentence?

from the linked article:
"The Louisiana Democratic Party's executive director Stephen Handwerk quickly slammed Rispone's campaign filing as an inappropriate step while Hurricane Michael was hitting Florida. He criticized the GOP candidate for his donations to Republican former Gov. Bobby Jindal and Republican former U.S. Sen. David Vitter, who Edwards defeated in the last governor's race."
Seriously WTF does that have to do with anything?

Oh for frick's sake.
I despise Democrats.
How DARE a Republican in state x file for candidacy (which is a limited window of time) while state y had a monster storm. The sheer gall and THEN he gave campaign contributions to candidates who ran as a member of the same party as him.
Shame. Shame. Shame. Shame. Shame. Shame.
Did I mention I despise Democrats?

If he and John Kennedy runs
from what I understand Rispone would of backed out the race if Kennedy was willing to run for governor. Since Eddie announced he is running I'm assuming that Kennedy must of decided not to run for governor.

The point I was making is he doesn't need to run. If he needed something done politically, his Rolodex and bank account are both large enough to make that happen already.
Right. I understand. I was mainly speaking about people who've been in the game for a while.
There have been many people who get into politics with the best of intentions, no doubt. But, the system has quickly corrupted a large percentage of them.
I hope the guy being discussed does well for the folks of Louisiana. All of the southeastern states (and others of course) have been decimated by corruption.
Living in AL and TX during my adult life, I can say without a doubt that the corruption that's taken place in AL has really had an affect on growth and the state's economy. We are headed in the right direction, but always waiting on the next scandal to rock the statehouse. Granted, I didn't live in TX as long as I have AL, the political system there is light years ahead. And it shows.
