Yeah, I caught up. Got my hopes up.

People need to chill out trying to be the first to scoop a story.

Just a terrible story. Could not imagine being that dad and not being able to get to my girls with the kayak. Awful, awful. It would be hard for me to keep living after that experience.

I got people close enough to the situation that I won’t believe anything until I hear it from them.

I did hear directly from people that media was very TMZ with parents picking their kids up from other hunt area camps

Snapping pictures of girls that lost friends but don’t know it yet.

I got a phone message from someone earlier that just said it's the worst thing he's ever experienced

The effort does seem to be very well organized State local and all efforts are apparently being very well managed, which at least people might be able to find solace in that

There are a couple of O&G company aircraft that's being used to fly families into the area even that is well managed and the community in proving food and private housing

Just learned one of my industry colleagues lost his daughter. Great guy with a wonderful family. Hard to imagine that level of devastation.

I'm nowhere near the floods, but if I can somehow help from Bell County I'm happy to.

Yeah I’ve seen a few videos of them interviewing children with their parent’s it’s horrible seeing the media exploit them.

Saw this linked somewhere else but it’s a Tik tok account of I believe one of the counselors who made like 9-10 videos on their way out. You have seen some of the bus and singing but these are wild - if it’s been posted sorry!
