It's not demon possession. A person did this. It's the shooter's fault, not mental illness's.

Where did I say this was a demon? I'm not sure you read what I typed.

Insane people are in a sad situation and it gets even sadder when they decide that their best course of action is to kill people.

I don't understand the venom you people replied with.

I'm 100% certain that every person who carries out a mass killing like this is 100% bat shite insane. Which is sad.

Eh, I disagree. People with mental illnesses do things like this yes. However normal, sane people can in fact, do "bat shite insane" things like this as well. Maybe a rational normal individual finally lost it and acted out in the heat of a bad series of moments in his lifetime.

People act out all the time and look back in awe about how they could have done what they did.

Mass shooting does not 100% = shooter is mentally ill.

they've still got just enough grasp on reality to always pick a target rich environment where they know they've got an almost 100% chance of being the only person there who possess a firearm.

Well, if the shooter was a student, wouldn't the natural place with the most peer targets in general be campus? It's not like that requires some major calculation.

Maybe someone's just disgruntled.

Disgruntled people don't go around killing random people unless they have a few screws loose.

prayers for everyone involved. Hopefully these immediate reports are exaggerated like they normally are.

This is the typical claim about these people. And yet, despite being crazy, they've still got just enough grasp on reality to always pick a target rich environment where they know they've got an almost 100% chance of being the only person there who possess a firearm.

Just because they're crazy doesn't mean they are stupid. There is a difference between intelligence and mental stability.
