How about frick Louisiana for charging me more.
Again, you didn't have to go to school out of state.

I made the school look better with my higher GPA and graduating top of class.
How so? What are your amazing contributions? Statistically speaking, there will always be a "top of the class" even if the relative top is a 2.5.

I still live in the state paying taxes while many of those I graduated with do not.
I thank you for that.

I get your comments, but they don't apply to me. It's okay for Louisiana to frick me, meanwhile I actually added value to the state and school?
Were you abducted and made to attend school in LA? I'm still confused why you think the state did you so wrong. Are you unaware that charging out of state tuition is a common practice in our country? And please, again, tell us how you're so valuable.

Why don't you go tend to laundry and let your hubby have the adult conversations.
And for the 100th time, a house mom is a person who oversees a fraternity or sorority house. Y'all are the fraternity, but it was clearly only funny to me. I'm gainfully employed.

How many of you (other than doctors) have student loan balances over $50,000?
No way high earners are included anyway

Nothing, as long as it’s put to good use.

I have student loans and not a fan of total forgiveness but hell I would rather see them do that over sending Trillions to Ukraine or any other foreign country.

I work for the government, I’m free after 120 payments. I’m about half way there.

Why not freeze or forgive all credit card debt?
they can freeze student loans because its a federal loan, the fed gov isnt giving people credit cards. at least come up with a whataboutism complaint that makes sense.

Wife is a vet.
$223k down to $180k since we started paying them back in November 2020. We also paid off like $40k in other debt since then. The student loan is all we have left.
I don't give a shite how much pandering it is, if Biden wants to extend no interest until 2023 then let's fricking go. That will be an additional $50k we can pay.
I do lol at the people who haven't paid a single loan while it has been in deferment tho. It is such an awesome opportunity to pay them down with no interest but alas

Now I'm not salaried but the last 2 years I was just shy of $100k gross each year. My Student loans are currently at $86k owed from law school. I still pay on mine each month, just a less amount.
My wife went to Physical therapy school, her loans are a whopping $150k. Luckily, regardless after 10 years her will be forgiven under the public service forgiveness.

Biden previously campaigned on canceling tens of thousands of dollars in student debt per borrower
Even if he did, there'd be a lawsuit, and an injunction, and months or years of court battles before it is resolved.

If you've bought the COVID dip instead of paying off the loans while they're interest free - probably a smart move.
That said, with the market tanking and if payments/interest resume, now would be an ideal time to pour excess cash into reducing debt.

Why would I pay money on a zero interest debt when inflation is on a moonshot? Would it not be better to pay that money on higher interest debt?
