What years? My wife is from there, if there was overlap I'm confident they have at least met if not know each other well

It would have been 40's-50's somewhere in there. Ehrhardt was the name. He had a gas station too.

Someone needs to turn off the weather machine at Ft. Polk. Its coming straight from that radar site and still forming. Bunkie is about to get the next flood

Looking at the radar, there is still a consistent flow of moisture, rain, and storm cells from the west and southwest flowing into Avoyelles that continue to feed that blob of rain that won’t move.

I don’t think it’s prudent to be on the road at this time unless one must.

A LOT of people in louisiana have wind/hail deductibles meaning any wind event or storm event causing damage the higher deductible will apply

At that point what is the point of insurance.

Crazy thing remnants of Arthur now in MS/AL could redevelop once it's in the Atlantic!

The worst part is that most of this area is not a flood zone so the majority of people do not have flood insurance.
People living in Louisiana without flood insurance still boggles my mind. "But we've never flooded before". Records are always broken
