Oh I’m ready! Got the Gatortail filled up and tide to the back porch.

Bob Breck isn’t panicking. But does say it will happen. Will wait to see more of what he says.

Early 00z models have shifted some of the heaviest totals out into the Gulf, but this is an interesting setup with the stalled front across the Gulf Coast. The flow around 90L will pump lots of moisture into the stalled front with the potential to generate some big rain totals well out ahead of 90L.

Not quite, but yea I’ve had the same thing on my mind too. Maybe I’ll find out if the new Laurel Ridge Levee that Ascension built recently will actually work as advertised. I typically would see the Amite River at the end of my road once it gets to 9.0’ at Port Vincent. I’m sure it’ll get to at least that with this system.

I've been away from LA for 15 years. Is the Comite diversion done? I'm assuming it's not because that would track for that project, but I'd like to be surprised by someone saying yes.

I just moved out to the St Amant (Acy) area near the diversion. I know the property flooded in 16 but the house did not. I know im technically outside the new flood protection stuff they did, but when should I worry?
