Oh you’re right. That number isn’t near large enough so we really shouldn’t care about it at all. You and SFP make me sick. Anytime anyone tried to bring any information or awareness to this issue yiubdown play it.

There is no lower form of human trash on this planet than someone who sexuallly abuses children and underage girls.

No, he was roofied, remember? You read that right, he thinks so highly of himself that women are committing felonies just for the chance to sleep with him.

Until a couple of years ago, it was legal in some states in Mexico to bang 12-13 year olds. Culturally, it's (half of Central America) one step above conflict areas in Africa. It's not any wonder that a 22 year old will diddle a 15 year old with Angel Reese eyelashes and assault her. It's ok back where they're from. There is a pretty significant rape culture against teens in India too.

But, understand, even people working at a Marriott property in DFW are probably under 25, and if they're night audit, they're new and afraid of guest reviews. Most of us are old bastards of the "let me get the rifle," type, but most of them live in quasi job loss/boss fear constantly. Now pick a hotel in BFE, where your choice of night agents is the high school dropout, the recently released meth head, and the valedictorian that only stole one car in high school (no shade to people trying to make it work, but I see junkies in places that charge $9 a beer, too.)

And the owner, a Patel, is constantly on your arse to make sure you collect cash for the room and not deny a booking. You have to call the cops 2x a week to get rid of druggies in the lobby.

How ironic. Their good name died with his. Now they are forever sullied.

There have been at least 8,877 victims of sex trafficking which took place in hotels (not specific to Red Roof Inns) across the United States since 2015 In the world's third most populous country that not a very big number. *I stayed at a Red Roof Inn once. Once. Was a shithole. Didn't engage in any sex trafficking but I bet it's on the list.
I bet 3/4 of them were just old-fashioned whores and not “human trafficking survivors”

Sex Trafficking is a construct of dangerously unprofessional anti- SFP knuckle draggers with low IQs who weren’t 4.0 students with law degrees and impeccable 337 post a day track records. That’s all I gots about this topic.

Naw dog. It was a male. We had women in our group that day and a bunch of us were drinking clear drinks.

We think we saw the guy earlier in the night (before the xanex took hold of me) taking a different girl home.

He sprayed and prayed and I was collateral damage.

Tbf, most Red Roof Inns I've ever seen, look like human trafficking is all they do there.

I once had to stay in one due to "miscommunication" between myself and a condo rental company. It was Gulf Shores I think, tight before the bridge across from The Track. So we stayed there one night since I booked the wrong dates for the condo and it was one of the worst nights I've ever had in a hotel room in my life. All four of us ended up getting head lice from sleeping there. The couple in the room next to us fought, then fricked loudly, until 3 am. Just a nightmare.

Duh, they are the "red" roof inn. If it weren't for sex trafficking, those guys would be filing bankruptcy.

OYO and any other budget motel are probably the same.

The day rate at these places in the $30-50 range. The business model is going to attract people one step from homelessness. Of course, there is going to be drugs and whores there.

I can tell who travels a lot at work with posts like these. You are right; it's hard to expect the low wage employees to go anything beyond the minimum; and certainly not do anything to threaten their job.

RRI's are seedy, aging hotels that are often run by the same people that own and operate OYO, Motel 6, and other sketchy establishments under flags known for highly inconsistent quality.

There is a reason Marriott and Hilton brands tend to be preferred by business travelers. As a whole they are better managed and more predictable/consistent.

Most were early era Holiday Inn's in their distant past, which were a step above an old motor hotel from the mid 20th century. The format was a little better and more standardized with the rooms usually facing inward around a pool in the center. That is what travelers demanded. The Holiday Inn banner also provided assurance that the property was at least clean and safe. They were usually near the new interstate highways, where the old motor hotels were on the old state or federal highway routes that were laid out before the interstate system.

Then Holiday Inn started getting a bit nicer and switched their formats to a controlled access building with inner halls rather than exterior facing doors. They left these old, decaying second generation lower/middle market motor hotel properties for LaQuinta Inn or Travelodge; which did the same thing after about 10-20 years and the properties become OYO or Red Roof Inn.

Most local governments have legal means to revoke business permits if the property is a public nuisance. Baton Rouge has actually done that a couple of times before, including to at least one OYO hotel. If the locals are noticing a lot of shady activity at a hotel, they should call the police. Eventually they should start escalating it to their local government.

Yeah....lets blame the motel not the actual traffickers. The insanity in this nation grows daily.

The hotels on Airline and I-12 near All Star Bowling Lanes too.

The hotels at Siegen and I-10 next to Target have hookers walking around at all times of the day.
