Get more vitamin D throughout the year.

You will be less likely to ever need to beat the flu.

Attached to the flu, you’re probably going to have a sore throat, which is caused by bacteria.

I just had a bad bout with it. Never felt so bad in my life. First time I’ve been sick since before COVID.

Just keep throwing stuff at it until it’s gone. Sleep, water, vitamins, mucinex, antihistamine, Benadryl, ibuprofen.

Twice a year seems excessive.

The doctor in this publication may be on to something. LINK

In those patients who do have influenza, we have treated them with the vitamin D hammer, as coined by my colleague. This is a 1-time 50 000 IU dose of vitamin D3 or 10 000 IU 3 times daily for 2 to 3 days.

Drink fluids, fill up on vitamin C, and sleep.

alternate solutions to antibiotics
Well antibiotics aren't going to do much for the flu anyway since the flu is a viral infection, not bacterial.

Not sure why you're so set against prescriptions because getting on Tamiflu as early as possible after the onset of symptoms is probably the best way to reduce the duration and severity of the flu

Personally, i have not gotten the flu shot since 2005 and i have never had the flu.

If i ever do get it, i can go get treated and get medicine and get better anyway so why would i take a shot for no reason?

I just had the Flu, so it’s top of mind.

Come to think of it, I had the flu twice this year, but most years it is just a sore throat and runny nose that kicks my arse twice a year.

When I was at my worst 2 days ago i was repulsed by water and food. I had no desire to eat or drink.
