Sleep.

A ton of liquids.

Sleep.
Sleep.
Sleep.

Flush it out of your system.

wash your hands and avoid large crowds during colder temps, if you want to prevent it...

once you got it, fluids, rest, ibuprofen for aches...

N-acetylcysteine (NAC): 600mg twice daily. Available on Amazon

quote:

Administration of N-acetylcysteine during the winter, thus, appears to provide a significant attenuation of influenza and influenza-like episodes, especially in elderly high-risk individuals.

quote:

NAC treatment was well tolerated and resulted in a significant decrease in the frequency of influenza-like episodes, severity, and length of time confined to bed. Both local and systemic symptoms were sharply and significantly reduced in the NAC group.

Vitamin C and hit the gym. Probably wouldn’t get sick if you exercised

Daily what I do if it comes up. Not medical advice by any means. Only what I do if I suspect a virus attack.

•Quercetin 500-800 mg (substitute Ivermectin if you can get it. It’s a better vehicle to get zinc absorbed cellularly. But, you go with what you can get.)
•Zinc 35-50 mg
•Vit D3 5000-10,000 mg
•Vit C 1500-2500 mg
•Mucinex or generic 600-1200 mg
•Antihistamine per directions to mitigate some symptoms.
•Real carbonated Cola to settle stomach.
•Tons of fluids, water, tea, etc.
•Alternate ibuprofen and acetaminophen for fever as needed.
Also I’m a big fan of using turmeric/curcumin as a daily long term
anti-inflammatory for all sorts of benefits.
Not a physician just a layman. Not intended as medical advice, only what I do.

Thankfully I haven’t had to use it yet but this was highly recommended to keep on hand for flu season
Boiron

We have used their sinus calm before and it worked really well.

Hope you feel better.

I've always turned to Alka Seltzer Plus tablets in a little Sprite or 7-up a couple times a day to help me.
