On the night of Aug 17/18 I saw the aftermath of the Gov't. shooting.

I was traveling along northbound on I-110 going to the airport and was near the Main St. on ramp when two Nissan type sedans flew by me like I was going 10 mph.

When I got to the Governor's mansion curve several cars had come to a complete stop because one of the Nissan type cars had struck an attenuator construction truck and had torn off the front section of the car. There was a construction company out there putting new striping on the interstate.

Within seconds we were swarmed by several police cars. I pulled off into a grassy section of shoulder because I thought we would be there for a couple hours. The driver of the destroyed Nissan got out and was walking about and the police had surrounded him. I got out to see if I could help but since he walking I stayed by my car. He initially would not let the police search his car ,he locked it with the key remote. They cuffed him and put him in one of the cruisers . When the tow truck showed up to haul off the remains of his car the tow truck driver opened his car and the police quickly went through it. I could not see if the took anything out. The construction truck was barely dented.

I talked with the foreman of the construction company and he told me that each of their trucks has front and rear cameras for liability issues and that the data was forwarded to BRPD.

There were at least 3 cars involved including the car of the deceased.

The police know who these clowns are .

BRPD suspect these latest shootings are planned targets and not random shootings

This is usually the first statement from law enforcement regarding these murders.
How do they know this when they don’t even know who did the shooting?

Victim female Trene Wells is 39 in a nondescript Nissan. Her age and car make me think it’s random or domestic. So yeah, you may be right, we may have a random shooter.

Check out her Facebook page. I guarantee this chick was into some hood shite and probably fricked the wrong person over. They do I-110 for a reason. They shoot and pull off on any exit between DOTD and Harding to disappear.

They have Intel but can't act on it because the actual witnesses won't say shite. My fiancé's nephew was murdered off Florida Blvd. in late February. The cops know who did it, but won't make an arrest because his "friends" who were also there won't cooperate.

such a motive for killing an innocent beautiful young girl (high value target)

What? You really don't understand how street gangs operate huh? an innocent beautiful young girl isn't a high value target to kill.

Police are going to be more aggressive investigating the innocent beautiful young girl which would bring more heat on gang activity. Its all about money with street gangs.

A street thug not directly affiliated with a gang would be a little more likely, but they are are usually as dumb as a pole looking for easy scores.

This most recent shooting happened on I-110N. There were 3 killings in BR on Thursday. That's likely retaliation killings. She was probably in a relationship with someone who is a target.

My Allie theory:

Solo female in a car stopped at railroad tracks for the train

Two thugs walk up with the usual "Hey gurl, hey girl, wassup"

Allie said "not interested, F off"

Thugs said "F you bitch", pulled out a Hi-pernt, and shot her.

Simple as that

I don't know... could be... like I said I think someone she knew killed her...the majority of BR murders are "Tit for Tat" type shite... the place she was killed seems shady and dangerous if you don't know BR... not saying it's the safest area in town but it's far from the worst... I know a guy with a compelling story into why he thinks the owner of The Shed had some to do with it... guy is a idiot and habitual liar but his story kinda make as much sense as any other theory I've heard

Those railroad tracks are an avenue for trouble. I've been threatened and had a gun aimed at me at those tracks when going down North - "What you lookin at white boy? I'll f*ck you up"
I've seen homeless and drug addicts along those tracks while playing City Park golf.
I know a guy who owns a body shop near St. Vincent. He's always chasing off drug addicts.
It's close to the bus station and St. Vincent homeless shelter. There are some rough people in that small area.

Please get this information to the family of Allison Rice:

1.The shell casings gathered at the scene of her murder contained DNA;
2. A suspect (teen black male) has been identified based on the DNA;
3. But because they can only prove he loaded the gun he has not been arrested;
4. This information is from within the BR Police Dept and our hope is only for justice to be done (any reward funds should go to as directed by her family) as this will be anonymous;
5. The decision to not arrest absent further evidence was by the current Baton Rouge Mayor.
6. We regret this tragedy occurred and justice has not yet occurred.

Pardon my ignorance, but does the Mayor have the power to make this decision? I thought it was by the PD in conjunction with DA.

I’ve heard the same. They know who it is but there’s not enough evidence.

they could arrest him and charge him with accessory to murder and get him to confess who the killer is if not him
no way BRPD would sit on this info
