Even if this were to go through, someone just as bad will quickly take her place.

Since she worked so hard to get these sister city arrangements in place, could we get some signatures from those cities too just for the heck of it?

If we did get lucky and get her out it would put a spot light on the next mayor. They will still be corrupt but it won't be business as usual

This will go nowhere because the guy who filed it jumped the gun without any organization. If this was properly organized it may have shot if you knocked on every door in Lakeview, UPT, and the garden district.
Bingo. I think you could get that number of signatures but there was zero ground game before the filing. And once filed you are on the clock.

Blacks would rather have the whole thing burn down than admit she is terrible for this city and you need them to sign
So would the elite white guilt ridden prog women that meet up for Xanax and mimosas at brunch everyday on their husbands dime.

Doesn’t matter. It puts her in the spotlight and hopefully indicted one day

I agree, but this just being filed is more attention on her and the press is running with it. Will she be recalled? Probably not.
But at least it’s a little bit more pressure on her.

Exactly. Any negative publicity on her is good publicity for the rest of us.
As long as the media keeps digging and keeps riding her arse they better chance someone uncovers some wrong doing and by the Grace of God she’ll in up in jail one day.
shite, how awesome would it be if her estranged husband filed for divorce and threw under the bus?
Posted on 8/26/22 at 2:40 pm to tgrbaitn08
I don’t see it happening but maybe people will actually care enough to show up and sign

I would sign if I lived there and I hope people sign even if they think it won't work. How does one sign?

All signatures on recall petitions must be handwritten. The petition shall be signed by 40 percent of the qualified electors within the voting area where less than 1,000 qualified electors reside in the voting area; 33 and 1/3 percent of the qualified electors of the voting area where 1,000 to 24,999 qualified electors reside in the voting area; 25 percent of the qualified electors of the voting area where 25,000 to 99,999 qualified electors reside in the voting area; or 20 percent of the qualified electors of the voting area where 100,000 or more qualified electors reside in the voting area.

I know Eileen. If she's on this petition, Cantrell's in some hot water. Eileen has some connections and Desiree Charbonnet and krewe are probably circling the boat as well.

If what I am reading it true it was filed by Noonie Man
Which doesn't inspire confidence, however, the Vice-Chairman of the recall effort is Eileen Carter (Karen Carter Peterson's sister), Latoya's former social media manager. That is significant!

I would describe them as energized.

I don’t think there’s 50,000 literates left in the city

That’s more than Slidell has considering all the felons and meth heads, and sexual predators and crooked politicians

And this will go nowhere like every other recall petition. Gavin Newsom ring a bell?
