I don't think that house is ugly, but if I was spending $1.3 million on a house, I would berate the realtor that drove me to look at that house.
Different strokes for different folks though.

Sounds great but most suburbs are not like this.
30 minute commute in morning, hour in evening
DSLD home
No trees
Shitty man-made pond
Neighbors who complain that you left your garbage out for one day

What about that statement or any I've made in here screams insecurity?

Money doesn’t equate style or taste. That house is still fugly and it doesn’t take a multimillionaire to point it out.

You should either live in the big city, the full-on country, or a small town/city that developed naturally.
The suburbs are the worst.

I've lived in all three and have experienced the perks and downsides.
Loved the neighbors I made when living in the suburbs, but it always felt like a tradeoff for everything. I guess the other way to look at that would be it is a middle ground for everything. Not too hot not too cold on anything.

I live in the suburbs now in a well established, high demand subdivision. I like it okay, and I get along well with all of my immediate neighbors. But man if the people around here aren't boring, uninteresting people. They just love to talk about their job and their church.

Why does it seem like all commuters lie about their drive time?
Most people lie about their lives in general. They post pictures of lavish vacations yet they spent their last penny on that vacation and now are looking for a bailout because they couldn't afford 1 months rent after missing a paycheck or 2.
I think most people stretch the truth to make them feel better about their lives. Sure everyone wants a 1 minute commute but if 90% of the time your commute is 1 hour but 10% of the time its 39 minutes, people will claim its a 30 minute commute. They aren't "lying" they are rounding down and talking best case for commute.

No in-ground endless swimming pool. Sucks to be poor

we're in GOD'S COUNTRY, MAN.
even our walmart in Fairview is pretty nice.
lot sizes around me START at 2.5 acres and goes up from there.
i can shoot firearms in the woods behind my house (although miley's security guards send drones over my house every time i do it to see whats going on)

You get no architectural judgement from me. It's not my style, but it's not my house, so IDGAF. I live in a basic brick shoe box in the city, so I can't cast any stones. But I have a almost an acre, a creek, 8 minute commute, and close to all the ethnic food I want, so I've got that going for me.
Different strokes for different folks. I couldn't do the burbs. I'm either in the city or way outside the city on some land.
