One time I did an experiment, bought taaka and ran it thru a Brita filter about 5 times. It tasted slightly better but wasn't really worth the effort

There's some really good Russian vodkas out there that are as smooth as shite.. you can get a true nature of vodka by drinking it over ice or chilled.. I enjoy titos but it's essentially a cut moonshine as it's distilled from corn..

These were all I bought until I tried American Harvest. Made by the family that started Grey Goose and only 2/3 the price. It's awesome.

I've bought regular Stoli my entire adult life for my vodka bar stock.

It's good enough for most everyone and maybe too good for the rest.

Tanqueray is the Gin equivalent for me. Good enough.

I did this in 9 the grade with 100 proof taaka

You REALLY expect us to believe you drank a handles worth of vodka in one hour while in 9th grade?

Compared to all other liquor, Vodka is low in calories and has a minimum hangover due to its minimum sugar content.

Also you can mix it with dozens of different drinks that all taste vastly different.
Ex: screwdriver, bloody Mary, vodka-redbull, vodka-sprite, Jungle Juice, etc...

Its also quite cheap.

Vodka is by far the best overall choice in alcohol.

Unless you're a chick this post is ridiculous. One day your balls will drop and you'll learn the magic of a beautiful whiskey served neat.

One day yours will too and you'll act like a man and not give a damn what someone else's drinks or why.

Where did I say I gave a damn about what anybody else drinks? Enjoy your fuzzy navel, ma'am.

Do you buy expensive vodka or cheap vodka?

Depends on if you want to feel like you got hit by a train the next morning or not.

A good smooth vodka is heaven on earth.

Attaching masculinity to liquor preference is pretty gay, and I prefer brown.

Never have liked vodka for anything but making my girl drinks. Give me knob creek neat any day - that's my go to sipper. Knob single or rare breed if you want to spend a little more.

In college we kept a bottle of Grey Goose(refilled with Taaka) in our freezer for when the girls came over. None of them ever noticed.

Ketel One is the best vodka I've ever had. Very smooth. Drinking it for the first time was when I finally realized the difference between cheap vodka and high end vodka.

This has been my go to vodka the last few months. $24 a handle at Albertsons at an introductory price. I prefer it over Tito's.

For a twist on Martinis, cucumber vodka is great to have on hand. Efffen or Prairie are both pretty damn good.

For those saying all vodka is the same, try this in a blind taste test and you will forever change your mind.

That last picture was interesting. Bottle of vodka, red Dixie cup, Cobb salad against a pink wall backdrop.

Quality response post though.
