If you're mixing it, you can't beat Kirkland's (Costco brand) in the frosted bottle. $14/handle. The clear bottle is allegedly made in an old grey goose distillery, but I can't tell much of a difference for an extra $6.

As said,, Tito's, Kettle, and Belvedere are all good.
However, a couple Christmas's back, my wife bought me a fifth of Crystal Head Vodka. About $50.
It went down like water. First time I killed a fifth that quick since college!
Obviously I will only get that for special occasions, but I have never had a vodka that was close to that since. And I pretty much only drink vodka.

We usually keep a bottle of vodka in the freezer. Got a bottle of Tito there now. We've noticed Absolut is the only vodka that turns to slush in the freezer. I suspect the alcohol content of Absolut is less than advertised.

Wrong. I keep Absolut in the freezer everyday and this does not happen. Someone is drinking your vodka and replacing it with water.

The difference in taste between the high end and low end isn't that substantial but the difference in hangovers is. Personally, Taaka has given me the worst hangovers of any alcohol I've ever consumed.

Fair enough.

Tito's and Cathead do the trick for me. Usually Tito's for regular vodka, but the Cathead Honeysuckle can be the base from some pretty good cocktails.

Unless you're a chick this post is ridiculous. One day your balls will drop and you'll learn the magic of a beautiful whiskey served neat

I didbt say Vodka was the best tasting alcohol. I said it is the best overall alcohol considering price, hangove, and mixer options. I love a good whiskey, but you cant complain about the taste of vodka when the flavor can be masked by dozens of different drinks

Titos! Made in Texas, delicious, and very highly rated by the "experts"

I buy both. Cheap Pinnacle is for Bloody Mary's and more expensive Tito's is for Martini's.

There are no other drinks worth making that use vodka imo unless you are a novice drinker masking the taste or like drinking pure sugar. Gin & Tonic > Vodka Tonic also
