It was amazing to see.

I’ll never forget sending my 7 year old son to a kids camp down the street at our local golf and country club where he could be with other kids and be outside rather than sitting bored at home or going to a nasty daycare. A neighbor from across the street called the cops on the club saying it was an illegal gathering. And it was shut down to avoid liability. So instead of being outside playing on tennis courts or swing sets, most of these kids had to be sent to daycares which are much worse in terms of spreading diseases. Our son could stay home but I felt terrible for others.

Holy shite. Did you ever find out who the neighbor was that called that in? I'd have gone beyond petty in dealing with them going forward

Yep. Everyone knew immediately who it was. She was so proud of herself. She bragged about “doing the right thing.” The virtue signaling is such a staple of psycho libs.

Wait, who could have predicted that toddlers and babies not being able to see the mouths of adults and older kids would have an impact on their ability to learn and synthesize speech?

My youngest child started kindergarten during the masking craze and struggled learning how to read. I have no doubt that was a major contributing reason. Fortunately, we got him up to speed on our own and didn’t rely on the school, but how many kids didn’t have that option?

For what it’s worth, I returned here to laugh at you ignorant hillbillies melting down over sheeple wearing masks. Then it turned out you were right and I actually like you guys more than my arts community people.

Then I bought a pickup and starting leaning right. This place is dangerous.

I have a bookmark I think of one of the original threads that was attacking the dad who went to a daddy daughter dance in St Louis when one of his other children was sick. He went to the dance before there was any confirmation that his kid had Covid. People here on TD were calling for him to be arrested… hoping he died… etc. The crazies were here too.

It was sooooo deadly that everyone that died from it died in a hospital.

You ignorant types still piss me off for sticking with some narrative that the head cold killed a bunch of people. Coronaviruses have been around for decades and every human body has them. When you test them, they come back positive. Simple as that. COVID barely killed anyone... intubating them and shutting down their immune system with Remsdivir did.

Well, the state officials were all scrambling in the dark and were forced to rely on Fauci and CDC. We all know how that went.

Then as time passed and we started to get real data, some state officials started breaking away from the CDC orthodoxy.

You realize that means you are only getting the money if the patient lives and leaves the hospital right? Going completely against your notion they were diagnosing dead people with Covid.

So, this would actually sway hospitals to DECREASE the mortality rate of Covid, not increase it as you inferred

Dying from covid has nothing to do with the 20% reimbursement

If I recall, even in the beginning it was known that kids were not getting sick right? It was mainly old people because I remember my biggest concern was my mom getting it. That & I just wanted shite to get back ASAP.

As I was a P.O.S state worker at the time, I was all in on going home for 4 months. shite rocked. I lost 30 pounds, looked good for my wedding and played video games during work hours.

As a grown man now with kids, I will never support a lockdown again.
