I dealt with it and succeeded by saying “frick you, government. I’m not doing what you say.”

Peace.

and the young children forced to wear masks, get COVID shots, and do virtual school?
what about the small businesses?

point being, the overreaction fricked a lot of people because more “strong people” didn’t stand up to the government overreach. most cowered and wore their masks like good citizens.

There was a bunch of loons in that thread. Probably the same people throwing Mardi gras beads at Tesla's today

I meant scare tactics from the powers that be. I believe many in the med field were doing the best they could based on what they were told.

You're rigjht.

Hindsight is always 20-20.

It's harder to look forward, and easier to look behind.

There are definitely lunatics who post on the poli board who believe that Covid wasn't a real, deadly illness. They also love to argue that hospital capacity wasn't strained and it was all a conspiracy, and, I imagine, many have done the whole "another conspiracy theory proven true" about it at some point.

LINK ] No I'm saying that if you're unvaccinated and you take up a bed that leads to a person without covid being denied service, you bear personal responsibility for that.

The monumental dumbass that made this post is continuing to propagate lies about hospital capacity during covid 3.5 years later.

I thought we were doing the right thing when it started. We didn't know much about it, so better safe than sorry. However, all that changed after George Floyd. Apparently, the "deadly" virus was a SJW that took a pause and allowed us to protest.

Covid killed a lot of fatties. When we have another pandemic it will kill even more fatties. People didn’t learn the first time. Hard to have sympathy for them. Regular even semi healthy adults weren’t dropping dead from Covid. That was a lie to try and force or trick people into getting a vaccine that also didn’t work very well.
