How are all the case numbers the same across a year of crimes? How did he commit a crime in March 2013, for which he was sentenced 7 years, and then committed a crime in March 2014, for which he was sentenced 7 years?

Looks like he was charged all at once for events that happened on different days.

I just never really get that interested in rap sheets in situations like this

Videos sometimes don't show things that would otherwise trip a normal person's instincts, like suspect demeanor.

I agree all that is interesting. Like I said, I understand why OP shared this.

But as for whether any of that helps determine if it was a good shoot or not? Nah, none of that is relevant.

It does serve to shine a light on the incompetence of city leadership and decision making within the Georgia/Atlanta prison system, though.

Sure, I agree with that.

Hell, if he was supposed to be in jail, then technically he should still be alive.

Imagine if he had actually killed the police after being unlawfully released.

It was a taser. You can shoot someone to death for firing a taser at you?

As a police officer, yes you can.

The police handled the situation perfectly too

Is ‘perfectly’ the new ‘literally’?

Cannot get on board with shooting a guy running away who was firing your own taser at you as being a perfect handling.

So what's your definition of handling it then? Should they have let him go? What happens if they chase him and he finds some way to kill the officers, whether it's thru the use of tasers or other lethal force? How would you explain the handling of it then?

Great. We lost a good officer who dedicated his career to serve and protect a community so that this shitstain could achieve martyr status for a bunch of psychotic traitors to the American way of life.
