He allegedly shot NYPD officer Kaseem Pennant in the leg Tuesday in Belmont by accident, according to a criminal complaint.

No bias here in the reporting. It's all alleged until

His loaded 9mm pistol discharged while tussling with cops after he tried to flee, the complaint says.

NYC has extremely strict infringements regarding firearms and I would wager this 16 yr old did not possess a registered and licensed weapon. This is a city where carrying a gun is extremely limited and no way a 16 yr old is going to get a carry permit.

My client is in pain, he has open wounds," she said. "They started searching him for no reason and when he tried to walk away, they jumped on top of him. Because of the police officer’s actions, my client got shot and so did the police officer."

Except the part where he broke several laws like possessing a firearm and illegally carrying one.

This is actually an ironic twist. His family is probably angrier than the victim’s. How many 16 yo’s can generate that kind of bail from their talent? That gravy train ended before it began.

You do realize the records labels have always been bonding people out or putting up collateral so they can keep them recording and making money.

Also rapper has now changed name to No Willie.

This

I came to post this

Who are these people at these music label companies giving people these contracts?

Why are these record labels so ADAMANT that this is culturally enriching enlightening art and words and music that the American public SIMPLY MUST hear this stuff?

Makes you think. Why is this garbage culture forced on us?

You’d think a lawyer would know you can’t just “walk Away” when a cop is searching you.

It’ll be another tale of the body cam. Assuming it’s a good detention the kid will get serious time.

This quote from the article gives a moment of pause about whether this may get more complicated though:

quote:

The complaint does not say why cops tried to search Williams who was standing on a sidewalk.
