I drove there from the other side of the island over 25 years ago, with three girls in a convertible (I rear ended someone before we were even out of town. Fortunately no one cared). Talk about bringing sand to the beach. We stayed in an apartment at an old couple’s home. They screamed at each other at all hours, complete with pots and pans clashing.
Beautiful mountain drive and beautiful beach. Not much clothing.
