I met his son about a year ago. Extremely respectful and intelligent young man.

Eta: a friend of mine was having trouble launching his ski at false river. Has a really bad knee injury. Kid helped him out. I didn't know who he was and offered to pay him. He declined. offered him a drink too not knowing her was too young He declined that too

Randall J. Gay has been arrested after he allegedly pushed two employees at a Baton Rouge bar and refused to leave.

Police Lt. Don Kelly says Gay was booked Thursday with entering/remaining on premises after being forbidden, two counts of simple battery, resisting an officer and disturbing the peace by public intoxication. He was released from Parish Prison after posting bail.

Those are some petty arse charges to bring up a decade later.

So Randall Gay tried to use his influence as a DA to intimidate the officers to let his son get away with felonies? Is there a reason he should not be disbarred and charged himself?

I would protect my family as well. Randall Gay is a pillar to the community. He runs the peewee football in the area, runs several charity events, and is an overwhelmingly good guy. Take your charges and shove them up your arse.

I agree. He doesn't engage in public intimidation 99.9% of the time.

Maybe he should spend more time raising his son correctly

Dude has looked like that since he was 12.

I remember him and still know him as a good dude.

Did he have a judgement slip? Yes. But how many of us wouldn't try the same shite in the same scenario if it involved our sons?

He has to walk a real thin line here. On one hand, Blue is an ADA and reports to him in that capacity. On the other hand, Gay is also a member of Clayton's law firm

Oh stfu. The son had weed & a gun. Up to 14 grams is decriminalized. The gun makes it a different story because of our antiquated weed laws.

I still think the all-time LSU football player in trouble story involved Larry Foster.
As they were hauling him away, he yelled, "Don't you know who I am? I'm Larry F***ng Foster!"
