What is not being said is that Gay worked for Tony Clayton at his personal injury firm for a few years before following him to the DA’s office. Clayton is basically saying, out loud in the media, “Blue you done fricked up. I can’t protect you here.”

These ADA jobs in rural parishes are usually part time jobs. Does Gay no longer work at Clayton’s PI firm?

Why does this make you laugh? Clayton stopped paying him and charged him. The only fault I can see is that he plans to be the prosecutor. It may need to be punted to the State AG.

Suspended him as an ADA. The article doesn’t even mention that Gay works for Clayton’s private law firm although that can be verified at the lsba website. Has he been suspended from his practice there? It would definitely seem that Clayton shouldn’t be prosecuting.

So Randall Gay tried to use his influence as a DA to intimidate the officers to let his son get away with felonies? Is there a reason he should not be disbarred and charged himself?
