Oh how generous, they get to reach what you had in your 20s in their 40s.
After accounting for the present crisis, the average millennial has experienced slower economic growth since entering the workforce than any other generation in U.S. history.
Holden and Roger will likely completely gloss over this actual fact as well.

they didn't, which is why home sales fell during that period.
Gen X was the first to experience lower rates of home ownership as a result of the 80s market.
No you just don't understand math.
The average monthly house note in 1982 was less than half of the scenario you posted. Why is your average person in your scenario paying twice as much for housing as the average note?

I'm sure millienials will be saying it too in about 20 or 30 years.
Older millennials have been saying it for a few years now. I won't be saying shite about work in 30 years if I can help it.

Sure. It was all a piece of cake.
Lots of time off. Didn’t work hard at all. Really it just fell into my lap. The bank just gave me a home in exchange for a few cereal box tops. Didn’t sacrifice a thing. I’m really embarrassed about how easy it was. My employer just told me to be myself, and not to sweat anything. Education was free. Oh, and taxes were MUCH lower then. If we found ourselves a little short, we just shite money.
Except none of that is true.
Jesus.

A can do, vs can't do attitude.
The point that you numbskulls can't comprehend was that your attitude was irrelevant.
You were simply fortunate to be caught in the wave of post - WWII growth. Which is easy to do when you're the only country in the developed world that wasn't torn to pieces and was primed to grow.

Sure. I was riding that wave when I started, 35 years after WW2.

God willing brother. I've got about 15 years left. shite went fricking south if I'm dealing with lazy younger coworkers in 30 years.

They cannot accept that it was a perfectly primed situation for them.
Instead, it was their “work ethic” and “drive”.

you were born on third, thinking you hit a homerun, and then you complained to rob manfred and made him raise the mound, deaden the balls, and raised the walls only to then complain about the lack of homeruns from modern players

Riddle me this.
How come tons of people in my generation didn’t thrive if it was all so easy?
