I think your correlation to still being married is going to be more based on age at marriage then which number marriage it is.

1st and 9 years. You just have to make a better choice the first time. Her up bringing, parents, siblings are all indicators. Don’t be a pussy. Play the field until you find the right one. They need to have drive, ambition, and self respect. I mean you want them to be hot but you can give up some hotness if it means they’re a great wife, mother, and not fricking crazy. Trust me it’s worth it.

Pretty much
The one time you should be selfish and not settle is when you’re wife hunting. You’re not going to fix their problems.

I'm on my 3rd, first one lasted 4 years, 2nd lasted 10 months and the 3rd has lasted 15 years and still going strong!

1st for both of us, 12 years.
We were both in our late 30's when we married, so I think that helps. Getting married young doesn't work out often.

1st and we celebrate 27 years in 9 days.

on my 2nd coming up on 8 years - actually, 8 happy years. First lasted nearly 10 years, 4 or so happy.
As far as the possibility of divorce going up after every consecutive marriage, my father just ended his 7th.

Celebrated 14 years last week. We dated for 4 years before we got engaged and were engaged for over a year as well. We’ve been together 19 years in all. 1st marriage.

Dudes could avoid thousands of divorces a year by simply avoiding social media obsessed women and refusing steadfastly to date any girl who has ever taken a duck face selfie

1st, 39 years. It amazes me the number of second marriages, first ending in divorce, that include till death we do part without adding, I really mean it this time.

1st..30 years.
Married way up.

Second marriages have a higher divorce rate than first marriages. Third is even higher
While that's probably true it's very misleading. It doesn't imply that second and thirds are less successful. This statistic is to be expected because it includes all the people who can't stay married. If one was good marriage material they wouldnt have made it to the second or third to begin with, typically.

1st for both of us. We’re still hanging in there after three weeks!

First marriage. Five years coming up. Happier than ever. She hit the jackpot.

First marriage, four year wedding anniversary is in June. I know it isn't ten years, but I have a good feeling it will stick.

1st marriage - 23 years this Sunday.
Dated for 3 years first and we were friends for about 4 years before that. I think the fact that we were friends for a long time before dating makes a huge difference.
