Question For The Ladies: Do Corny Statements By Men Trying To Hit On Women Work?

Because of social media, it's something I notice more, but it happens IRL as well, On twitter for example. If an attractive female tweets something like "Is there just one normal guy out there?" men will start commenting with shite like "I am. I would treat you the way you deserve to be treated. Like a queen".
Or if she tweets something like "I look awful! Bad hair day" and dudes comment with stuff like "If today is a bad day, you still look beautiful".
If the same guy is always looking for ways to give you compliments, to the degree it appears as if he is trying too hard. Does that come off more creepy than anything?

women have low self esteem and will accept corny statements because they are constantly seeking male approval.

If they’re attracted to you, they like it. If not, they hate it, just like everything else. The key is to make her laugh. If they have a sense of humor, the more absurd the line, the better the reaction.

My guess on this is that the chance of the cheesy pick up line working on woman is directly related to her attractiveness to him. Same line will work from the guy she is attracted to, but not the guy who she isn’t attracted to.

You don’t know how to pick up women? You seem kind of old to still be wondering what does and doesn’t work when hitting on a girl.
