You are making shite up now.

I don’t listen. I’ve seen his stand up though
Then don’t comment on it. He always approaches his guests with interest in their specialty and never acts too smart or like he has all the answers.

I like his podcast, but Rogan isn't nor has he ever really been all that funny.

I like both & there's some overlap there. His standup is a memorized routine so it's not as "stream of consciousness" but it's still got the same big picture approach to the world. His podcast is better than his comedy IMO.

I first saw his stand up in 2004ish and have been following him ever since. Awesome guy

I like the podcast, but damn 2-3 hours everyday is hard to listen to. Hardly ever finish one episode.

He seems to have "beginners mind" and seems to want to learn from every guest he has on.

Love Rogan's podcast, until an extremely high Eddie Bravo shows up.

I'm a big fan of the podcast and don't love his standup at all and I'm a big fan of standup comedy. I like Joe a lot and believe he really enjoys learning and bringing info to the masses. He's obviously not as bright as most of his guests, but he is constantly saying what an idiot he is. He's a great interviewer, too. I guess I've listened to close to 500 episodes. Don't pay attention to UFC so I bypass almost all of those.

I'm not a huge fan of his standup but it's ok.
Standup is fricking hard. There are only a few standups that really make me laugh out loud.

I’ve only listened to a couple of his podcasts, but dug em both. I’ve actually never seen his stand up.

He constantly brings on extremely intelligent, interesting, funny guests and the format and setting is perfect for anyone wanting to kill a few hours and typically get more knowledgeable about a broad range of topics. His interview style is what separates his show from anything else. Never tries to overpower guests with his own opinions even if it doesn't agree with them. Asks fantastic questions, often playing devils advocate. You get to hear very smart people answer sometimes challenging questions. The conversation is almost always in an unbeat or not too serious mood but they often lead to you thinking slightly different about people or their ideas. It's a very open minded podcast and he never really forces and agenda on the listener or the guests.... Other than live a healthy lifestyle, smoke weed and meditate
All that being said, my wife wanted to surprise me with stand up tickets and I said I'd rather just go to a concert or something with her. I've never been able to appreciate his stand up.

his "triggered" special on netflix was terrible. i generally like his podcast though.

Rogan loves to play different characters depending on the audience
His podcasts never really did it for me, he comes off as too self absorbed

Joe Rogan is also not as smart or clever as he thinks he is.
He is very good at asking follow-up questions and basically poking and prodding at his guests. Very good interviewer that knows how to point out logical inconsistencies without being too confrontational.
He nearly made Milo cry.

His podcasts with Rhonda Patrick are great. Makes me feel like a pos though. And the one with the smart geologist/scientist guy about all of the floods and previous land masses.
I never listen to his random UFC/comedian podcast though.

Yes, I am woke as frick, love ufc, know way to much about random low key stand-up comedy, and think Hollywood is bizarre.
this sums up his show perfectly

That's where we are as a society now unfortunately. "Hey this dude said a few things I don't agree with, I must tell everyone how much I dislike him in an attempt to find more in agreement so I can practice confirmation bias"
