They’ve got some anti glare coating, haven’t used them at night yet but we’ll see. Probably gonna end up being a waste of money but I’m supporting the local economy I guess.

Daily contacts are the way to go. I gave up glasses a year plus ago.

Why don’t you go back and ASK THEM about it?

JFC come to the message board about this instead of just asking your optometrist about it?

Best not to look at your phone while driving.

They’re the jezebels that swindled me, I wanted to hear some thoughts from people who wear glasses to get some opinions. I called them earlier and going back in a couple weeks to see what they can do.

Not necessarily.

I actually used driving to learn how to use my first pair of progressive lenses. When I picked them up I had a 45 minute interstate ride to take...put them on...the speedometer was in focus. Look at the license plate of the car in front of me until it came into focus. Look at speedometer again...rinse and repeat.

By the end of the ride it was almost second nature. Bifocals or readers won't work for the kind of work I do so progressives are it for me. It probably helps that my distance vision is only slightly off.

If very slight eye/head movements don't solve your problems then maybe they messed up the prescription...possibly the pupillary distance. Does your prescription even show pupillary distance?

They can swap out the lenses easy. Just get plain reading glasses. Assuming you need readers and not distance.

The biggest cost is the frame and not the lenses.

Put them off as long as possible, definitely don't encourage wearing them if not needed, your eyes will start to depend on them.

Is the new lens they are trying sell to people who are near-sighted?

My niece has really bad eyes and they prescribed those for her. We took them back and got standard single-vision lenses for her.

Your eye doctor should have a return policy for Rx glasses.

near sighted or far sighted?

i got moved to multifocals a few years back and really only wore my glasses for driving or watching TV, but I started struggling to read my phone or anything small with my glasses on. I also started having headaches after work and felt like I was drunk after if i was really in front of the screen the whole time.

multifocals fixed that.

you should be able to get the lenses fixed if they aren't giving you complete vision unless you need bi/multifocals and just didn't get them.
