You should be good. Get back to me when you hit 58, that's when I started falling apart.

I'm 40. Will be 41 in June.
I lost 40 lbs, started my own business and am loving life again. My wife and daughter are great, and I don't work for people that worship money anymore.
ETA: Sex life has improved lately as well.

I’m 42. I’m active and athletic. I’ve noticed my dexterity and fine motor skills have slowed. I’ve also woken up far more sore the next day after strenuous activity the day before.

Honestly felt great in my forties. Started feeling more aches and pains in my fifties and I can tell I’ve slowed down some. I still exercise every day which helps, but bodily functions including “Mr. Midnight” don’t work as well as before.

Bifocals.

Changes in your hair that you can't see, but your barber can: including thinning, texture changes, sideburns changing texture.

Moles and skin ticks.

Women hitting perimenopause and then....

Less patience with stupid questions from people who should know better.

Some childhood friends starting to look really old.

It gets even more difficult to lose weight, once you get to 50 things start to ache a little more often (just turned 51). Other than that, not much else has changed for me.

More ear hair, back hair, nose hair eyebrows grow faster less hair on head. More joint aches, taking more meds morning wood rare. I always say that life before 40 is nothing like life after 40. I don’t expect this to apply to everyone. Just my experience.

How old do you 'think' you are? Mentally, I've always thought of myself as being younger than my actual age.

For example, I'm 58, but mentally, I'm still somewhere around 45.

So, if you think of yourself as younger, it won't bother you much.

I had cancer in my early 30s. It made me focus on health and diet. Turned 40 this year and hope they are better than 30s were.

I think the testosterone level thing is legit. I used to want it 3 times a day. Now, 3 times a week and I’m pretty much happy.

Besides that, I’m actually in better shape now than I was when I was in my late thirties. (44).

I was already graying with a receding hairline by then.

It flies by. I was 25 six months ago and now I'm 48. It's been good just too fast.

I'm married 20 years. Once every three weeks and I'm good.
