I started getting a little grey late 30’s and it’s pretty grey on the sides fully now. Beard is about 50/50 brown grey. More aches and harder to keep the fat off and I have to hold my phone 2 feet away from my face to read.

My dad always told me the 40’s are the most fun because you have money and are still young enough to do more physical things.

Oh I totally agree red. Should have included that in my post. I still have many things to be grateful for right now

Assuming I survive the shutdown I'd agree. I make enough money to do most things that I want now and I'm still physically able to do all all of them.

40-59 were physically some of the best years of my life, in spite of having cancer and going through treatment when I was 54. When I came out on the other side it actually made me feel more alive. Hitting my 60s is when I first started to notice the body wasn't what it used to be. More aches and pains, having to workout 4x as hard to accomplish 1/2 the results you got even in your 40's-50's. The one thing the 60s has taught me is to slow down and appreciate what you have in life.

I wasn’t much of an athlete in high school or college. I wasn’t over weight, just not good at anything that required hand eye coordination. I discovered that when I reached my 40’s that all my athletic friends started having issues with knees and backs due to their athletic days in high school. Suddenly I became competitive just because I wasn’t having to continuously grab my knees or back. I was able to do my slow motion dribble down the court and take my shots at ease against them. LOL

40-45 was nothing for me. Then ear hair, using that app on your phone to read small print and now I sit on a stool to wash my feet in the shower. Oh and spicy foods don’t treat me as well. Enjoy the before-time.

A day isn't going to make you feel any different.

I’ll be 50 in June. I still lift heavy weights. Now I do hurt more than I ever have. When I can no longer go heavy I will feel old. It will be a sad day in my life.

My brother will be 49 soon. He still does CrossFit competitions against guys in their late teens and 20’s. I’m not the fitness animal that he is, though.

I am 71...partied during the 60-70s...but I played a lot of ball in my younger days and never stopped working out. Plus, I married a younger one and have good doctors...enjoy.

Honestly my 40's were fantastic. Certain foods started burning me up a little more but that's really it. My younger brother on the other hand got stabbed and gutted at a bar, broke his back, lost his hair, and had two heart attacks all in his 40's.

We got the same birthday but a little older. Physically it’s whatever you want it to be. You can get in good shape or go down hill guickly.
Sex is good. Mind is sharper. 40s are pretty cool.

Physically I can do pretty much anything I did in my 30s. Spicy food is hotter on the way out. Muscle strains take about twice as long to heal. Random stuff breaks: example, I had a retina tear 2 months ago that needed laser surgery.

I lift weights, do cardio, and eat right. I feel great. Will turn 45 in a week.

Have fun

I was supposed to get one of this this coming week. Thanks to corona, it got cancelled. That's what I call a silver lining.

Happy Birthday

Wish we shared with some more influential people but looks like we get Merle Haggard (takes the cake by far imo) Paul Rudd, Billy Dee Williams, Candace Cameron and the painter Raphael who eventually became a Ninja Turtle so I’m cool with that.
