have not seen it mentioned but was Prince Andrew going to Balmoral or is he balls deep in some 15 year old?
The article said he was on the way. ( Isn’t he the Duke of York ?)

This would be a lot more interesting if there were dragons

It seems to me,
You lived your life,
Like a candle in a castle,
Killing anyone you’d need to,
And protecting a-holes
Goodbye QEII
From the young man in the thirteenth colony
Who sees you as something more than a figurehead
More than just our dear old Queen Mum

He is. He’s been stripped of everything else but that title I believe.

I'm not a royal watcher at all, but I just don't think the theatrics and attention it will get are really that bad considering the things that women of our country normally pay attention to.
Having a bunch of vapid people stare at the TV for days on end to watch ultra-traditionalists engage in some centuries-old traditions might be a mildly positive thing, actually.

I tend to agree. As much bitching as this board does about straying from tradition, it's odd to me that they'd have a problem with a literal centuries old tradition being carried on.

She wasn’t Queen yet but she did serve in WWII

Beginning her training in early 1945 as a mechanic at Aldershot, Princess Elizabeth would finish her course and be fully competent in driving and vehicle maintenance by April. The Princess learned how to repair, deconstruct, and rebuild engines, change tires, and drive every type of vehicle she worked with, ranging from Jeeps and trucks to ambulances. Despite her desire to be no different from her fellow ATS women, Princess Elizabeth would eat her meals away from them and be taken home to Windsor Castle at the end of the day

96 years old, with no major health issues, with a 70 year reign is a pretty good span.

Yeah.. she has that "look" of watching the unseen circus that old folks get when they're near the end.

It’s 2022, monarchies shouldn’t exist in the western world
Considering what “democracy” has done to Western Europe, I’d say they were better off ruled by real Kings.

Can’t wait to hear her podcast episode where she talks of the problematic decisions the Queen made that enabled systemic racism to flourish in the colonized world.
She's 100% going to declare that she is the rightful heir to the throne. Watch.

I don’t think you have to be vapid necessarily to be interested.
It’s interesting from a historical perspective. She’s the longest reigning monarch in England. Beyond Queen Victoria, George III, Elizabeth I, and only second in all of Europe to Louis XIV. And the centuries old traditions of the coming and going on an English monarch is interesting. Our nation is not nearly old enough to have those things.

Well, none of us get out of this alive in the end. The old gal has had some long innings and has lived in the lap of luxury her entire life.
But no matter how good or bad you live your life, nobody beats Father Time and the Grim Reaper.

She's a 96 year old lady so that's probably realistic.
