I am currently working at home (wife here too) with a 4 year old and four month old, who refuses to sleep more than 30 minutes at a time in the day.

It sucks. If #2 or #3 is worse, I think I would just risk the virus.

Maybe not what OP was going for, but I will say this about #3. It does suck from a cost perspective. My highschool and college sons are eating frickin everything.

Yeah I'm currently with a 7 year old and 1 year old

the 7 year old is a breeze most of the time with playing outside, doing her online schoolwork, watching Frozen II for the millionth time, etc

the 1 year requires constant attention as she is in that wonderful stage where she just gets into literally anything

she is currently sitting on the floor next to me emptying the kitchen towel drawer and she will do this at least 10 more times today

Which scenario seems the most stressful?

Ask your Uncle.

He had to do scenario 3 by himself.

But my aunts said mom used to break down and cry from the stress of scenario 1.

4 kids within 5 years.

I hear you. I'm with an 8 year old and a 5 year old. All they do is whine to go out, then whine to come in. My youngest keeps barking at the neighbor boy when he barks.

Parenthood is stressful.

Don't just assume that.

We don't know what they did with their fingers.
