So your a stay at home parent, the other is working...
scenario 1: 3 kids under 4 and one is a three month old
scenario 2: 3 kids in 4th through 8th grade
scenario 3: 3 kids (2 in hs and 1 a freshman in college)
Which scenario seems the most stressful?

Easily. Because you’re not sleeping great at night either.

I don’t think you really thought this out.

And it's not even close

Generally, the younger they are, the more stressful it’s gonna be.... you can reason with a 10 year old... you can’t reason with a 3 year old (you can try, but you’ll end up wanting to shoot yourself in the face).

Definitely
and it's not even close!

Definitely 1
But if your hs/college kids are giving you shite to go out and socialize with their friends, they might need to be treated like toddlers.

#1... if you're in a SIP state you don't even have the ability to escape for a few quiet hours at the bar.

My kid has been sleeping since 2/3 months old. He's 16 months now. Don't tell me that's going away!
Thankfully my in-laws drove down here from Virginia over a week ago when we realized it was a matter of time we were going remote work. We would be screwed and working all night to make up hours.

This is like asking if you'd rather get shot by a 12 gauge or a Supersoaker

scenario 1 ALL DAY LONG
Posted on 3/25/20 at 1:49 pm to LSUvegasbombed
1. Constant attention, need to tend to their every need, and a 3 month old waking you up at night every few hours
2. All old enough to entertain themselves for the most part without a ton of supervision if you’re working from home or trying to do stuff around the house. Just need you to cook for them. And old enough to play family board games and backyard sports
3. Will all probably be in their room 90% of the time anyway
Option 1 is easily the most stressful
