Excuse my ignorance but the earthquakes that the LA area have had over the last 25 years had nothing to do with the SA fault? I know there was one that hit Northridge and I believe one other big one.

Whose fault are those?

Godnabit, we put up with Pectus' shite 24/7/365 and we finally have a thread where he can actually contribute and he's MIA.

Every time I visit areas with high tectonic issues, its always kinda sorta on my mind until I leave.

Earthquakes come with no warning and are very fast. If you die in an earthquake you aren't going to have time to do any celebrating
