Apple has zero respect for their customers. Its hilariously sad at this point.

fast, easy to use, yada yada.
then came the updates..well after the first couple i told her 'this thing keeps getting slower, lets just skip the updates from now on'.
ha, you think that worked?
hell fricking now. soon apps stopped working..things like frickiNG YOUTUBE wouldn't even install unless you upgraded to at least iOS version yada yada.
the kicker came when i couldn't find a free calculator app for my kid..thats right..the iPad doesn't come with a calculator app. every calculator app (ITS A frickING CALCULATOR) required the newer 'slow your ipad down to unusability levels' OS.
so we updated...and of course it became a brick overnight. completely unusable with newer system.
this all unfolded over the course of 2..maybe 3 years tops.

And yet my 5 year old is still using my 2011 iPad. Yeah it's slow, but it's also 9 years old. How many Android tablets from 2011 can still turn on?
