4-5 without outs is fine. 6-7 they better have instant replay because it's on like donkey kong.

When I was that age T ball was pretty much just normal baseball rules, 3 outs. If you somehow managed to strike out or the ball was caught you were out. I don't remember it hurting anyone's feelings, but whatever, it's t ball.
I honestly couldn't tell you one way or the other because I don't remember an inning where we got three outs.
I do believe we'd get taken off the bases if we were out though.

I don't have a problem with it at that age, but I grew up in a small town and back in my day, we didn't have enough kids to have a league for every year of age. T-ball was for 5 - 8 year olds, and it ranged from kids who had no clue what was going on to big kids who were hitting home runs over the fence off a tee. You got 3 outs per inning and it made the young kids learn the game a lot quicker though.
I was 5 and our pitcher was on vacation so I was going to get to play pitcher one game and I was pumped up. We were taking infield before the game and the coach tries to hit one to center and ends up lining it off my eyebrow. Busted me open and my eye was swollen shut, but it was a lot of fun getting thrown in with the big kids.

Think about how stupid the average American is...and then think about the fact that half of all people are dumber than that.
Scary.

as far as i'm concerned, we could just practice every time instead of playing a "game" because at this point, again, it's more about learning and repetition. The don't know what the rules are but they learn a little more very time. First baseman stays at firs, running base to base, how to approach the plate/ball. I couldn't give two shits about winning or losing at this point.
at young ages, "games" are simply for the moms to be able to take pictures of their kids in oversized uniforms on a somewhat official looking field.

In our 3-4 yr old league all Tball batters reach one base after hitting a ball. They stay on base even if a defender gets the ball and makes an out by tag, catch, or force out. They advance one base with each batter hitting off a Tee or hitting a tossed ball.
They learn to hit, run to a base, and advance on a hit while defenders learn to catch it, retrieve the ball, tag a base or runner, etc. yes, everybody gets to do something rather than just swing and miss.
In the next 5-6 league up, they get out and head to the dugout. Real baseball.

4-5 year old T ball. That is funny in itself.

So I submit to the venerable OT: is letting kids at that age play without outs the pussifiaiton of America?

4-5 year old t-ball is terrible. But, it's the only level of t-ball/baseball that should be allowed to play with no outs.
After that, cut the frickin throat. Gotta learn young that the world is filled with sharks. There's winners, and there's losers. You either got it, or you don't.
That is where it gets stupid. No reason a frickin 6 year old can't learn how to win and lose. THAT is what's wrong with America.

At that age, the proper thing to do is allow the whole lineup to hit once, then switch. If the defense makes a play and retires a runner, then the runner sits. But there can be more or less than three "outs" per inning.
Give each kid as many reps as you can in a hour. Nothing else matters from tee ball other than being on a diamond and having fun on a team. Literally nothing else is learned.

Agreed. And they need to learn that if someone catches a pop-up, you're out and go back to the dugout.
My friend's 5 year old plays tee ball. They have outs and keep score. They actually just had their play offs and district championships. I think they take their tee ball more seriously in Texas.

If you're good enough at tee ball to warrant outs, scoring, etc., then you really have no business playing tee ball.
