I was in China a few months back and many of the toilet "pans" were in the floor. Fortunately, many have been replaced by "elevated pans" which are Western style toilets.

I’d like a little privacy when blowing up the toilet with explosive diarrhea

A LOT of public toilets in Europe charge a usage fee.

This is a thing in Italy… the stall just had a hole in the ground… but it wasn’t all backwoods . It actually flushed.

Di was beautiful and incredibly fine.

She wasn’t. She was a good looking woman, not great. I’d put her at an eight.

Why do we Americans accept partial privacy in public restrooms?

The space at the floor is so you can pass the bag of coke to your buddy in the next stall while doing key bumps

When I was in England I thought it was weird they call joint to the bathroom, the toilet. I think that’s gross.

Used to be a thing in the U.S.

Public stalls had coin slot locks. Usually cost a nickel or dime

If I am at the point I have to crap in a public bathroom pride goes out the window and business is taken care of quickly. I’ve used deer camp outhouses so there is always worse conditions.

What’s the big deal, when you have to go you have to go and who wants to crap their pants. A bunch of pansies out there.

Starting with their name (‘Rest room’ is American only). No resting in Europe. Toilet, Loo, Water Closet, Bano…to name some, is the reference term in many European countries.

We should’ve known something was up when these figs were calling the bathroom a “loo”.

Such a soft continent.

A lot of "water closets" also cost a Euro to use

You will see women in the men's bathrooms cleaning while you are using the restroom

That was such a cool movie. We saw it last year at the local cinema. Wim Wenders is a German treasure.

In France they are not just cleaning it but also using the same "toilette" in a lot of locations. I assume that is why the stalls are fully enclosed.

I have only paid to use the ones in the train stations and metros but they are clean.

I did use a pisser on the street while walking around Paris and it had a door that just covered the "strike zone" and just wide open to the public.

This thread is needed.

For some reason in the US we like to have 2 inch gaps in the door stall and also 2 feet from the ground so you take a shite in what is just above a civil war slit trench in the US while in Europe you get a space made to take a shite in.

My thinking is that this is due to some regulation that makes US bathrooms less private in the name of safety or probably due to it being cheap as frick construction for the US

My issue is that they put the dang toilet paper dispenser right where you need to be and so you have sit half sideways to to avoid the 8 roll dispenser
