My sister is a huge lefty and one of her friends studied abroad in Sweden hoping to get a Visa to stay there because it was a "socialist utopia." She was so shocked when she got there that just about everybody there was employed (I guess she doesn't know how governments get tax revenue), women didn't have a lot of hostility towards men, entrepreneurship was actually encouraged, people volunteered, and that there was gasp...School choice. It really crushed her hopes of her "version" of utopia that she heard on Reddit.

I work with a Cameroonian who went to grad school in Sweden. He told me "you know why the buses in Sweden are 8 minutes apart on the nose? Because 8:01 minutes is certain frozen death". LOL
