It was only a matter of time before they started focusing on what’s important in that area. That section 8 ghetto they call CCL is the worst.

I agree 100%

This will also result in 0 uninsured motorists getting insurance

need to find a way to punish these drivers more. I am sure some will have revoked licenses and can get arrested.

so why have an issue when they use inspection stickers as a way to find the people without insurance?

If they are actually doing it to find people without insurance then why are they doing it in arguably one of the more "affluent" areas of town where those citizens statistically are more likely to have insurance?

I dont think the following fits the highland road and country club of louisiana area very well. Do you?

quote:

Here's a breakdown of demographics and areas that are least likely to have car insurance:
Demographics:

Low-Income Households: Individuals and families struggling financially may find car insurance premiums difficult to afford, even for minimum coverage.
People of Color: Studies suggest that racial and ethnic minorities may face higher insurance costs and have lower access to vehicles, leading to a higher likelihood of being uninsured.
Young Drivers: Teenagers and young adults (16-24) are statistically more likely to be involved in accidents, resulting in higher insurance rates that may be unaffordable.
Individuals with Poor Credit: In many states, a low credit score can negatively impact insurance premiums, making coverage less affordable.

I agree with location and time of day. Do it later in the day in NBR.

State Police? Did they just walk out of the Troop A building to the light at the corner?

Damn, that's lazy.

House Bill 232......6-5...failed in committee again trying to get rid of them. Vote those 6 out of office. Trying to find a place to even get an inspection sticker is just a pain in the a** now.

As opposed to real LEO business like protecting the community by pulling people over and ticketing them for driving the speed limit in the left lane.

Outside the gates of CCL? It’s a blatant money grab and has nothing to do with finding uninsured motorists

Pro tip: Schedule an appointment at a dealership. They can't charge you more than the price of the sticker.

You can’t get an inspection sticker with a crack in your windshield. New requirements are anything over a quarter size, I think is an automatic fail.

My wife has a windshield crack. I’m not paying $1000/yr get a new windshield so she can get an inspection sticker

this is my current situation. Previous two years, I had to get the windshield replaced just to get a damn inspection sticker. Decided I wasn't doing it for a third time.
