Good thing because it's obvious he isn't giving you one.

I haven't ever been given a gift for Valentine's Day and this is out 9th one together. I don't hate the holiday, but I honestly don't care about gifts.

We also don't give Christmas and birthday gifts unless there is coincidentally something we wanted to give each other. For example, I got him nothing this year and he gave me a purse. He gave me nothing last year, and I gave him a PS4.

Hubs and I have been together 10 years and holidays are the same way for us. We spend most of our would be gift money on trips each year. Just booked Alaska for this summer and have hotel rooms on the parade route in nola next week.

Picked up a few pounds of crawfish for the wife. That was probably her favorite vday gift of all time.

My wife never got the memo that women don't really have to buy men equivalent gifts on Valentine's Day. She treats it like Christmas.

OUr first Valentine's when we were dating, I got to my now wife's apartment that night and she had this huge basket for me. Girl Scout cookies, all kinds of candy, and a couple of PlayStation 2 games(I wasn't even much of a gamer). I had sent flowers to her work and had bought her a new coffee maker. I kind of felt like a schmuck, but she loved the coffee maker.

Pretty sure that's the last time we got each other "big" items for Valentine's Day. We didn't do anything this year. I guess my gift this year was I didn't smack her on the arse when she got out of the shower this morning like I do every other morning.

Maybe it's a trap for some people, but we stopped the Valentine's Day thing a long time ago. We both think it's stupid. We will drink some champagne and Waitr something good. That's it.

I didn't know you left But come to think of it I guess I haven't seen you.

He stopped posting in October, actually. The rumor is that I killed him, but I didn't.

My wife legitimately hates Valentine's Day.

We're going, at her request, to a cheap Mexican restaurant to get drunk on margaritas then going home to watch Netflix.

No gifts, no red, no pink, no flowers. Those are the rules.

My wife is the shite.

Rookie mistake I did exactly once in high school.

Girlfriend claimed she didnt want anything for valentines day. Ok, so I didnt get her anything.

When all of her friends starting getting roses, chocolates, etc I got a phone call with her crying "why didnt you get me anything???".

Come on guys.

Nah, we aren't all married to crazy people.

ETA: I have a couple prime beef filets that I'm cooking, we'll have some good wine, and I'll let her choose what we're watching tonight

Of course it's a trap

I got home and there was a card and some candy. Even though, no cards or gifts, just dinner and some desert.

Well, i went to grocery store, bought strawberries and pineapple, dark chocolate almond bark, and made my own chocolate covered strawberries and pineapples for her with a card.

I won, the trapper became the trapped!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Box of candy cannot compare or compete with home made chocolate strawberries.

My SO said the same bullshite... I didn’t fall for it. I sent 2-dozen roses to her office with a heartfelt note and she called me in tears. I’m 100% getting a blowie tonight. /subtleSObrag

I did the same thing, but no doubt will be rejected again.

All good. I have a fix for that too!

My wife pulls this stunt with me too. Took the first couple years of 25 to catch. Slow learner I guess.

I didn’t catch that damn 1-800 flowers thread in time so I’m probably screwed whether fn fedex gets the roses to her or not.

This is my 3rd VD with the SO, she's claimed she doesn't want anything and hates Valentines day every year. Needless to say, I haven't fallen for that shite ONCE and every time she's been grateful and glad I didn't listen to her.

She got flowers and a handwritten love note at the office today, she'll be getting a better surprise when she gets home tonight in the form of me in my boxers watching tv on the couch.

I do too much for her throughout the year to go too big on V-day
