Kinda sucks that they aren't posting pictures anymore.

The hot girlfriend said they are recording snaps on their push up. But they can't post them until they come back down to camp.

Awesome that they were all able to make it to the summit together, sucks that Cory couldn't make it all the way without oxygen.

Here's to a safe journey down! It's been awesome following these guys

What's the big deal about him needing oxygen? Is it considered cheating in the mountain climbing world? F that, I'd be using oxygen, meth, and whatever the hell else I could get my hands on the get to the top.

They've both summitted with oxygen multiple times in the past

With no oxygen is much more difficult

It's mind boggling to me that anyone can do that without oxygen

My anthropology prof in college did his PhD work in the 1970s on a tribe in the Andes that lived at 18,000 feet. The physical adaptations that their bodies took on were incredible.

They had chests that were the same depth as width. Essentially "barrel chested". And their hearts, hands, and feet were the size of Shaq's. But they were only about 5 feet tall. They would hike up and down almost sheer cliffs all day long. When he would have to rest they were really concerned for him. Like, they thought he was sick or injured or something. And he was a marathon runner.

And these guys made a living up there, herding goats, and growing crops. At 18,000 feet.

He would do autopsies on them when they died for his research. And he got special permission from the Peruvian and US govt to bring back a complete skeleton when his time was up. He had it in the classroom. You wouldn't believe it was human.
