A 24pack of Dasani is $6 at the same gas station. Happy Saturday

Keeping that Dasani cold is pricey.

Everything is overpriced at the gas station. That’s where they make their money. They don’t make it on the gas, just like movie theaters make it on concessions.

Not the same cretins who drink Dasani, that's for sure.

Have you noticed over the recent years, really since stations are going to the new pumps with TV screens in them, that gas pumps slower. At some stations it pumps significantly slower. That's by design.
Used to the common approach was to pump gas as quickly as possible so to keep vehicles moving and sales rolling. That wore out the pumps and led to increased maintenance costs and pump down time. When the screens started showing up on the pumps, owners began to realize that they could get the attention of the customer. They slowed the pump rate so that you would have time to watch the commercials and such on the screen. The ads work, of course, and people who formerly had no intention of going inside found themselves going in for the two-fer deals on Monster Energy drinks and Slim Jims.
Inside sales have skyrocketed for most stations. The pumps last longer now and have less wear and tear and maintenance downtime.

Dasani is carbonated bullshite that is probably the worst bottle of water you can buy.

Because people are dumb...
Worst part about Dasani, it's not even artesian well water, it's filtered tap water..

The average plastic bottle of water costs $1.29. The water itself accounts for less than $0.00001 and the rest is a markup based on plastic bottle production, including packaging, marketing, and other factors to increase the price.Jul 2, 2019

Desani isn’t carbonated but I love a good Topo Chico.
Does spellcheck change Desani to DeSantis for any one else? I don’t even frequent the Poli Board.

In Baton Rouge you can get artesian well water out the hose around back.

Dasani is the water you drink when there's nothing else.
Tastes horrible.

The pump is submerged in the underground storage tank you moron. The line is under pressure constantly.
Newer dispensers can be slower due to cost cutting design (smaller internal diameter plumbing) and lazy owners not changing filters often enough.

You drink Dasani? Poors are gross
Posted on 4/9/22 at 2:55 pm to whatiknowsofar
It's just filtered municipal water that is bottled, like almost all of them are.

Refrigeration is probably one of the biggest overhead costs at those stations.
It makes economic sense.
