People's takes on "melts" and "snowflakes" are getting out of hand. Don't agree with something, someone will call it a melt or the poster a snowflake.
The easiest way to find the idiots on either side is to see if they use a straw-man argument, emotional rhetoric, or name-calling as the basis of their argument.
A group that is just as likely to tear down a statue of George Washington as they are a Confederate soldier, unlawfully tore down a statue. Destroying government property (whether you agree with it or not) is a riot, not a protest. Being upset that violence and destruction is being heralded and accepted is not a melt, but rather a realistic view of today's socionomics. If you have even an elementary understanding of socionomics you would understand a lot of the posts in this thread are posters upset that this and the Alt-Right v Antifa dealings over the weekend will only bring more societal outliers into the fray.
Expect more of what we've seen in Charlottesville in the coming months, because we are too pillow handed with outliers on one side of the spectrum versus the other. Hate is hate. Violence is violence. You can cast more disdain for one than the other, but both need to be condemned.

My shortcomings? I'm not triggered over a statue that I've never seen and has no effect on my life. This thread seems to be full of those people.
