The police were in a no win situation: If police would have stopped the vandals, the media would have claimed police are preventing peaceful protests. But because police didn't stop the vandals, the media are now claiming they are responsible for the man's injury (or death).

Thats what is pissing me off. They dont want then police so the police leave them alone, they destroy stuff and critically injure someone fhen suddenly they blame the police for not stopping them.
They always play the victim no matter how many people they injure and kill.

I hate to double post but i decided to visit his gofundme page to find out more about him. He is a married father of two.
Based upon the bits of updates about his condition are not good since her flatlined twice on the way to the hospital and is an a medical induced coma. It does not seem good at all to me. If he does survive I feel like he will have severe brain damage.thats just my opinion though. I wish it could be more optimistic.
His gofundme page says this about him:
Portsmouth NAACP, COBA, The Justice League, Believe, Pray, Overcome and other community Activist have come together to support Chris Green and his family for medical expenses and anything he needs going forward. Please donate today to help us support this family!
It should be noted that Chris Green was simply trying to get other individuals out of the way so they would not be hurt.
That last sentence stood out to me for some reason.

In the first video i viewed,he looked white, like someone with curly hair and a beard.
When i saw it again on another device, i saw he was black.( Not that it makes any difference, just agreeing with the poster who thought he was a white guy at first.)
Regardeless, this is a tragedy. I feel so badly for him and his entire family.

Here’s the curveball in this situation.
If you watch the video, it’s the black girl in the middle who kicks the statue over and kills/almost kills him, so shouldn’t she be charged since it was her action which actually caused it to fall on Mr. Green?
