I don't know about this but a different idea might be to play the game on Saturday?

Saturday seems like a no shite solution. Is there an actual reason it’s on a Sunday?

What championship games are played on a Saturday?

If it’s not a best of 7 series I can’t think of any sport that has a championship game on a Saturday.

Why can’t adults enjoy the Super Bowl and not get so terribly drunk that they need a day of rest. Sounds like a snowflake mentality.

Watching the Waste Management Open all day only to have the Super Bowl at night leads to heavy drinking for us non-prudes.

dgaf but since this is NFL related, has Aaron Rodgers turned into the weirdest frick in the last few years? is he trying to become the Bill Walton of the NFL? or is he just a humongous bitch and attention whore?

This was proposed by two state Democrats from Tennessee.
If you wonder why our country is broken, start with stuff like this. Why don't politicians try and solve real problems and not get involved with crap like this.
Oh, and if you are wondering why the Super Bowl will never be moved to Saturday, Sunday evening is the #1 slot for most amount of people watching TV in the US. The advertisers and the NFL would never allow it.

Im surprised this is getting so many downvotes. Unless you live in Philly or KC, no reason you can’t go to work tomorrow and function normally.

Is there anything worse than the dipshit that gets to work super early the day after a holiday or national event and then tells everyone how early they got there?

A lot of ocean ports in the US are closed for Lincoln’s birthday tomorrow. I think his actual bday is today. I was told the ports were so sick of so many call outs the day after the big game and they worried about operational safety having to run short-handed in early February when all employees have the PTO and sick days to just call in.

Roger Goodall is on record for always keeping the game on Sunday. He said the chances for more viewership is greater on Sunday night.

Why does it matter that it is on a Sunday?

I doubt that many people would tune out on a Saturday. It would still be THE event for the evening.
