It would be great if the guy who does the Project Farm youtube channel could clone himself 1000x times and have a channel dedicated to reviews for all different product categories. The guy does a phenomenal job of evaluating products and finding the best value for the dollar.

I think the original are still just as good. These are all i buy.
The bullshite "multi surface" version are taking more and more shelf space and those are definitely not the same or any better than average paper towels
My Amazon auto purchase each month for the good ones was replaced without my knowledge with the new shitty ones. I found the old good ones again, though, and switched it.

Basic TV programming is horrible these days
I'll catch an ad for a network show every once in a while & always wonder who the hell is watching this crap?
I checked the lineup for Thursay night:
9-1-1
George & Mandy's First Marriage
Ghosts
Matlock (lol)
Grimsburg
Transplant
No idea what any of this is, but I do know I'm not missing anything.

That’s what I’m talking about. 1980s Popeyes actually had good biscuits and phenomenal onion rings.

This is 110% false. Cars today are significantly nicer and last longer. Average car today lasts 125k miles before problems. In the 1980s it was 50k miles. Anyone who sa
Remember, this board is full of baws who own pickups and there have been a lot of problems lately with pickups. Plus these trucks now cost $60-90k.

Japanese cars are as good as they were 30 years ago.
American cars? Sorry but a 78 Cadillac was built better and lasted longer than a modern Cadillac. Just look how quickly Caddy's depreciate today.

My dad remembers when 40k miles on a truck was a lot and he isnt old enough to retire yet. I expect 40k trouble free miles PER YEAR out of my truck, and I expect 5 years from it at bare minimum without major work.
400k miles isnt some absurd pipe dream anymore. The new shite is absolutely better from a reliability perspective.

Someone has probably already mentioned those little chocolate bars. The Mr. Goodbar, Hershey, Krackel, etc. They are tiny little chocolate bars.
I swear they used to taste like chocolate. Now they are clearly some form of industrial wax that our government let's them refer to as "chocolate". I'd bet a lot of money that those aren't allowed to be sold as chocolate in Europe.

I expect at least 200k miles from a new $70k truck too. But are people routinely getting this? I’m really not sure. I read about a lot of problems lately with lifters, turbos, transmissions, metal fragments, etc etc.
I drive a 2016 Tundra so I’ve experienced none of these problems myself, of course.
