Only did one yr of Catholic/private school … for me I was talking at the pencil sharpener at back of class, someone said duck … I did... blackboard eraser hit wall ear high... Nun had a good arm and excellent aim

In 9th grade I had English first period. Our assignment for the day was to sit in our desk, be quiet, and do something productive; while the teacher slept off a hangover.

I put my head down and went to sleep. Teacher tried to have me suspended, got it reduced to a Saturday detention because I told the admin our assignment was to be quiet and productive. All my HW was done, and I didn't have any other books w me; so I had nothing else to do.

This was a standard Monday for us. Teacher didn't return the next year.

Completely opposite of proper Catholic theology and teaching on sexual intercourse.

If you want to know what the church really teaches about sex read St. Pope John Paul’s teaching called theology of the body or for an easier distillation of those teaching watch some Christopher West videos on the subject.

Had a teacher who took swigs of “back pain medicine” from under his podium. Some days he was reallllly mellow.

Had a coach who walked around with one of those long thin yellow wiffel ball bats and if you were caught acting up you got licks with it.

I never got hit with it but i saw a few in my days.

I'd been whipped with a belt, smacked with a paddle, coaches would smack me in the head hard enough to make my ears ring. The strangest was a teacher who would make us sit on his lap if we acted up in class. The boys would sit on his lap. Girls had to sit under his desk while he sat there. Looking back, we should have told somebody.

Said "crap" in Spanish class over the headphone thingys that the teacher listened to us practice on.

Got sent to the principals office for 4 licks.

Had one teacher in high school that always had tennis balls at his desk to hum at guys acting up. He was this huge, fat, awful teacher who was also a football coach. Incredible aim and speed for his age.

Administration at the Montesorri I went to k-6th had an approval letter on file from my parents okaying them to whip me.

Had a teacher try and suspend me for "skipping class" after he told me it was ok to go play flag football in PE. He did discipline me, but my dad ended up whipping his arse in the parking lot of the school. He also ended up on the ashley madison list.

AL private school in the 70's. All the coaches and principals had a paddle. Mostly the long one hand ones. Some had holes drilled and hokie names, but the baseball coach just had a Jokari paddle. That sumbitch targeted one cheek at a time.. Didn't help that he had Pete Rose forearms either.
