If JBE shuts down school for the rest of the year, it’s time to start marching on the Capitol

The principal is a freaking idiot. Kids are going back to school. ZERO doubt about that.

Means “principal” spells “principle”.

Checks out.

And we wish he would too.

Really? Testing positive is the baseline, eh? Your wife better find a new job if that’s the case.

School is shut down and banned? Ah who cares, it's liberal brainwashing and revisionist history propaganda, better off without it.

Where my wife teaches some of the kids and their families can’t even afford toilet paper. We’ve had to buy toilet paper and other essentials for kids my wife knows needs them. How the hell are they going to afford a computer?

Where I work students 2nd grade and up went home with school computers and the Parish purchased internet hotspots for those areas that did not have internet.

The snowflakes of this country will never let things go back to normal, again. Pussies.

sounds like you don’t work in vermilion parish lol

How did your parish do that logistically? Because from what I remember the schools were closed only for 3 or so days and then closed indefinitely. I can’t imagine the school board allowing all these people back to school during a stay home order by the governor to pick up a computer. How was it handled?

No she didn't. If it did happen, your principal is an idiot which wouldn't surprise me since she works for one of the most inept school systems.

I don’t think it’s at that point yet but I could see students being checked for temps and requiring masks
No way elementary kids can wear masks all day

All it takes is one kid getting it in a school setting

seems like a good idea to prepare for future eventualities even when there is no concrete plan

If this carries into the summer then schools need to be pushed back, along with cutting back some holidays. Kids don't need a week for Thanksgiving, two weeks for Christmas, etc.... Have the school year start in October, cut holidays, and make teachers work through June and part of July.
