Just a reminder
If not for Churchill, the Brits would have surrendered to the Nazis before a German boot stepped foot on British soil. That’s fact. His predecessor Gabe Hitler free rein over Europe and the entire country said “ok” until Dunkirk. If Churchill had not been around, they would have surrendered long ago. The only royal family member with balls was killed by the Irish.(Mountbatten). Everyone else in the royal family and parliament is an absolute pussy. Not sure if chicken banns me for that word , bit it is awfully true. Don’t get me started on the French.

Harry is a dumb, drug-addicted, man baby. Every decent woman who dated him ran for the hills. He and Megan Markle deserve each other.
He is pulling shady stuff with all of his charities just like his Uncle Andrew. This lady called him on it and stood up to his crazy wife, and he tried to get her thrown out. The staff she fired were in London making huge salaries to basically do nothing. She is probably shady, too, but she outsmarted him.

That’s false. You won’t find a bigger Churchill fan on here than me. I’ve read his three volume History of the English Speaking Peoples, and I’ve read two or three biographies of him including his letters from St George’s School. I had dinner with his grandson, too, an MP at the time.
The British people were very similar to the Americans at that time. They had been traumatized by the slaughter of WW1 in a way that America was spared. Naturally they hoped for a peaceful resolution to the Hitler problem. But when Hitler violated the Munich Agreement Chamberlain’s government fell. Its fall was at the hands of the British people, not Winston Churchill. The British people then turned to Churchill to lead them to war.
If Churchill had passed away the week before they would have turned to someone else and been led to war by that leader - not as capably, I’m sure, but to war nonetheless.

The marriage of Charles and Diana was a scam from the start and their generation and this were much more disconnected to the people than the previous two. Charles was a bit of a nerd do well and Diana was more concerned about her image and perks than the marriage. Both needed to grow up and never did. If you study the last Emperor of China I see similar issues to this generation of British Royals. The inability to be a Royal with some semblance of touch with the common folks of the UK probably doomed them all in their youth.

Unless you are king, you do not get they keys to anything. Part of the success of the USA was all the women (chattel, like livestock in Europe) and men who were not the first serving son who owned no real estate. These are the folks who came to Merica and made it what it became.

War was where everybody was headed. I will argue to my death that Churchill was the anti Hitler. He led the people by action and example and did the one thing few could do, give the UK people hope.
For those arguing the evil of Putin, Xi, and DJT they miss the point! Who is the current foil to them as Churchill was to say Hitler or Stalin? That is the question you should be asking.
