You are taking this way too seriously. I'm not trying to get into an economics debate. I'm just saying in my mind, I always want to put 2 quarters in a vending machine and get a coke.

Would you also like to never get a raise for your work?

A can of Coke from a vending machine should always be 50 cents.

The guy who owns the vending machines at my office had his Cokes for .75 and placed next to the Coke machine was one of those gumball-type machines filled with peanut M&Ms that took quarters.

He could barely keep the machine filled week to week as people would get a soda, receiver their .25 change and then pop it immediately into the M&M machine.

At some point, he raised the price of Cokes to .90 and the use of the M&M machine ground to a halt.

I've never asked him, but I'm curious if in the long run, he's lost a little money on the increase due to the decrease in M&Ms sold.

Any $1 menu item should only be a dollar. Not this $1.50 - $1.99 bulshit companies sneak in.

Gas - $2.00/gallon

Do you know how hard it is for most folks to make a living when gas is only $2 a gallon?

I saw a Jeep for sale win $36,999 written on the window at he dealership. I paid less than that for a loaded new f250 7.3 fx4 lariat crew can in 2003.

A dime bag never cost a dime. It cost $10

And a dime bag will always cost $10.

The amount of weed you get for that $10 is what changes.

Agreed.

If they've got to make them 6 oz, so be it.

Actually a good answer. Tolls never go away though, unfortunately. Sam Houston Tollway has been paid for quite some time, but alas, the tolls still go up.
