Can anyone say what the current range of price per SqF on residential new builds in and around St. Tammany Parish is? Also, does anyone foresee that changing appreciably any time soon? Thank you.

I’ve seen some Mandeville new builds around $255/ft. I wouldn’t think anything is under $200 new in this areas

You need to give some parameters.

Per sq/ft is meaningless as it all depends on location, size, custom-build, etc.

Take a look at current listings in the neighborhoods you want to be in for a general idea.

For a custom home?

$195-$215 sq ft.

Really depends on the luxuries.

Go to cretin homes, they are pretty explicit about pricing and help to establish a decent build floor price.

I would suggest 225/250…depending upon location.

Are you wanting just the psft for the box or the dirt as well in the numerator?

And is the denominator LA only or under roof?

OP's question is like asking how much a new car cost.

I’m sure it is still clown world pricing.
